It all began with the gifts. When Caitlyn Cuadra’s parents gave her an easel, acrylic paints in every color of the rainbow, and a pink china tea party set, they gave her more than presents: they gave her the desire to create.

Caitlyn spent every spare second organizing areas of her childhood home, rearranging her bedroom every other month, and sneaking over to her friend’s houses just to get her hands on someone else’s space to redecorate and organize. Her love for sprucing up spaces went from hobby to full-time job in 2020, when she lent her eye for organization and design to a friend who was seeking a closet reorganization. From that single closet, Caitlyn’s client list grew quickly even during a global pandemic, thanks to the fresh and unique approach that grew to define The Spruce Edit.

Where the easel and paints inspired Caitlyn to make life more colorful, the tea set gave her a lifelong love for hosting. As a child, she loved to serve up make-believe treats at imaginary parties, and as an adult, she began to transform those special moments into reality. After obtaining a degree and building a career in major event planning, Caitlyn realized what her true cup of tea was. In October of 2021, Caitlyn was asked to coordinate a close friend’s wedding — thrilled to realize that her most dearly held passions were exactly what they were looking for. Caitlyn's desire to coordinate and plan intimate events comes from her love for people. She has a spunk for life that radiates through others and inspires them to live out their best memories to the fullest capacity. 

Today, Caitlyn has blended her services into one space to gather those who desire the expertise she offers. The Spruce Edit is a place she wants others to come and feel a sense of hope, relief, and passion for what is to come when she enters into your life event, home, or business. Because what started with gifts from her parents has grown into Caitlyn’s gift, and now it’s time to share that gift with you.
